Contract: Machine Learning Engineer
Rate: £300 – £500 per day dependant on experience (outside IR35) + expenses
Location: South West England
Duration: 6 months initially
Start: March 2020
One of our most valued clients are introducing Machine Learning (ML) techniques to their work in order to automate processes and make efficiencies across their organisation.
This is an opportunity to be one of the first Machine Learning Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the organisation, helping educate others as well as automating and transforming their processes.
For this work you will:
- Be coding in C++ and/or Python depending on your preference
- Exposed to Amazon Web Services (AWS) technology stack including SageMaker for ML
- Get exposure to frameworks including but not limited to: TensorFlow, Apache MXNet, PyTorch, Chainer (Deep Learning) amongst others
- Working in an Agile team of eight, with 2/3 other SMEs
- Should the work be extended, you could be involved in applying ML to large scale Internet of Things (IoT) project
- Sharing your knowledge of ML techniques gained in other commercial environments working out how best to apply them to this customer’s problems
- Be part of a team of very clever people solving complex, knotty problems
